TORONTO LIFESTYLE FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHY: LAURA + OSCAR

Have I mentioned that I love family photography? No two sessions are alike. Since I don’t have a set plan that I have to follow, and I don’t do a lot of posing, my sessions are very free flowing. I like to let the kids be themselves and have fun, and they can’t do that if they’re trying to sit still for photos.

On this day, I got to meet the Marquez family at their home just outside Toronto. We had a pretty simple plan coming into this session: keep the kids busy and have fun.

To break the ice and let the kids warm up, they showed off their painting skills in their play room, then they were ready to show off their toys in their bedrooms. Soon enough we were off to the park to play a little soccer, hit the swings and then play around in the fallen leaves. Lots of smiles and plenty of laughs, this was an awesome day!

I’m looking forward to seeing this family again. Here are some highlights from our time together.
